Hi! My name is Cade! And as you could guess from the photo, I like warm jackets, canoeing, and especially coffee! And no, this is not the introduction to an online dating profile! Haha!

But most importantly I LOVE photography! We’ll start with a brief story on how I began my journey as a photographer.

When I was about 7 or 8 years old, around 2008 or so, my parents bought their first Canon digital camera. I always thought it was kinda cool you could press a little button and create an instant memory in a photograph or video, but I didn’t think a lot about it.

I always wanted my own camera but 1, I was far more interested in portable gaming consoles at the time cough cough Nintendo DSi cough cough, and 2, we didn’t have a crazy amount of money so I would just use my parent’s point and shoot Canon whenever I could.

Fast forward 2 years, I was shopping with my mom as usually home-schooled 10-year-olds do, and we walked past a display of small digital cameras that were about $40. I was super fascinated with them and begged my Mom to buy one for me! And like an AWESOME Mom, she did!

I had SO much fun with this little thing! It couldn’t have been more than 2 megapixels and used 3 AAA batteries to power it. It didn’t even have an SD card! It came with an old junkie micro USB cable to offload your photos onto a computer! But it was a camera and I LOVED the thing! I took it with me everywhere!

Probably the first selfie I’ve ever taken! (also this photo is 31kb, for point of reference, I could fit 900+ of these photos into a single photo I shoot now!)

Anyway’s, it was awesome!

I eventually saved up $350 and bought my first real point and shoot! An Olympus Tough TG-2!

I was moving up in the photography world! This camera was waterproof, 12.0 megapixels, and recorded 1080p! I was in love with this thing! I took photos of anything and everything!

5fps burst rate was my God!

Gotta love those built in camera effects!

I had a few more point and shoots in between including a Canon Powershot, and a Fuji waterproof action camera, but at the age of 16 I bought my first DSLR!

The Canon Rebel T3i was a revolutionary point in my photography, I was able to finally start experimenting with new interchangeable lenses, long exposures, manual mode, and all the FaShizzle!

When I turned 18 I sold my Rebel and my dad helped me buy a Pentax K3. That camera rocked! I loved the weather sealing and the f/1.4 50mm was CRISP! I took that camera on some BIG trips! Ireland, Scotland, Iceland, several states, and I used that thing!

I started getting into real estate photography from that point, got a drone, and it was settled. I’d never quit photography from that point on!

In 2020, after destroying my K3 in Iceland in late 2019, I finally moved to a Full Frame! I now own and am drop dead in LOVE with my second hand Canon 5D Mark IV!

Now we’re about caught up in my photography life, and YES if you made it this far and were wondering; that WAS the brief story! Haha!

My passion for photography and drive to continuously better my craft has lead me to create this website where I wish to finally start sharing more of what I do with the world and sell my photos!

I hope you enjoy what you see and know that most of the proceeds from my photo sales will go right back into my photography and videography. I have big plans and am constantly upgrading my gear and adding to my collection! I feel very privileged when even one person buys my photos, and I want to continue improving my skills!

As for other hobbies of mine, I LOVE to travel foremost, I love coffee and even sell my own home-roasted beans, hanging out with friends, rock climbing, mountain biking, gaming, playing piano, eating ALL the food cough Oreo Ice Cream cough, hiking, driving a 2005 MX-5 and my Subaru, backpacking, and “stylin, wildin, living it up in the city!” - Bruno Mars

Anyway, I hope you’ve come away knowing me a tad better. Feel free to follow me on social media and shoot me a message!

Have a beautiful day or night you wonderful person!
